I would like to congratulate you on this conference initiative on the theme of accountability. I would also like to thank you for the opportunity you offered us during this luncheon to share and facilitate the discussion on the topic. It was an extraordinary moment for me to hear about “the best practices”.
Thanks to Gérald, my schedule has changed significantly. Before, I had many project follow-up meetings with clients and my project teams. I didn’t have time to meet clients to understand their needs or discuss future projects. It was difficult for me to trust my colleagues, as I was afraid they wouldn’t deliver the same results as if I did the work myself. I learned to give clear mandates to my team leaders so they could effectively manage meetings and negotiations. They surprised me with their creativity, and the results were even better than I expected. This freed up time that I was able to dedicate to activities aligned with my role in the organization.
